Compare journeys end to end
Write down the actual start, destination and intended time. Obtain a current result rather than measuring distance on a diagram. Treat a displayed duration as an estimate and allow time for the station environment and your own pace.
Inspect the change itself
Look at which lines the interchange joins and whether your journey uses the expected branch and direction. A station’s line list explains connections; it does not prove a short walk or an accessible transfer between every platform.
Use access-specific information when you need it
If stairs, walking distance or step-free access matter, check the relevant options in TfL’s official planner and current station information. TfL’s travel tools distinguish route preferences and access options. AnyTube’s compact offline fallback is not an accessibility certification.
Keep a fallback that is genuinely different
A second journey through the same disrupted section may not solve the problem. Compare the lines in each option and refresh status before choosing. Save useful real journeys in AnyTube, then revisit them when travel patterns change.
