Practical travel guide · Reviewed 8 October 2026

Make the first trip a small, clear plan.

Before you enter the station, know where you are starting, where you want to finish and how you will check a change along the way.

Choose exact station names

Search for the start and destination in AnyTube and read the selected names before planning. Similar names and nearby stations are not interchangeable. If your destination is an address rather than a Tube station, check the final walking leg in a connected, supported planner.

Check route, direction and destination

Read the lines and interchanges in the current route. At the platform, match the direction and displayed destination with your intended journey, and follow official signs and announcements. Do not use a map screenshot as an instruction to board a particular train.

Keep payment questions with official guidance

AnyTube plans travel; it does not sell your Tube ticket or determine your fare. For current ways to pay, maps and visitor help, use TfL’s getting-around-London resources. This guide does not quote a fare or claim a payment method is valid for every journey.

Plan the return before losing signal

Check the return context and keep the relevant stations ready. AnyTube’s core map and supported Tube fallback can help with structure offline, but fresh line status and live multi-mode results need a connection. Leave space for announcements, changes and a different return time.
