Set the actual travel date
A route checked on Friday for an immediate departure is not necessarily the route you will need on Sunday. In the live planner you use, check the requested departure or arrival time. If a saved commute opens with an earlier context, refresh it for the intended trip.
Separate planned works from a live incident
TfL publishes planned closures and significant service changes separately from current line status. Read the relevant dates and station details; a line headline alone may not describe your part of the trip. TfL’s planned works page links to current information.
Choose an alternative you can explain
Keep a second option with its interchange and final destination clear. Check whether it depends on a bus, walking leg or another rail service: AnyTube’s stored Tube fallback does not supply a fresh multi-mode journey. Ask for a live result when connected.
Check again before committing
Before leaving, open AnyTube’s Routes and Status, inspect the current explanation and follow station announcements during the trip. A saved route is a convenient starting point, not a reservation or promise that a service will run. If access is important, also check the relevant station and lift information with TfL.
